ore you, and from the idolaters. But if ye persevere and ward off (evil), then that is of the steadfast heart of things. S: You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon. 003.187 Y: And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! P: Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Allah is Able to do all things. S: And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Allah has power over all things. 003.190 Y: Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,- P: Lo!
