Mi ankaux ricevis kelkajn petojn por pligrandigi aux plioftigi la
Gazeton. Sed ankaux tiu cxi afero nuntempe estas neebla. Vere, se oni
memoras, ke antaux nur dudek monatoj, Esperanto estis kvazaux
nekonata nomo en Anglujo, kaj ke nun dum ok monatoj Anglujo posedas
sian propran Gazeton, oni ne devas plendi, ke gxi enhavas nur dekses
pagxojn! La ekzisto mem de tia Gazeto, precipe apogita de Britaj
Verkantoj kaj Abonantoj, estas nekontrauxdirebla pruvo pri la
facileco kaj rapida progreso de la Internacia Lingvo: estas praktika
pripensinda pruvo.

Cxu Vi rimarkis la kovrilon de nia lasta kajero? Laux la petoj de
alilandaj amikoj, mi donis al la verdakovriletajxo, Esperantan
baptonomon, kaj mi esperas, ke Vi, kiuj logxas alilande, cxiam nomos
tion cxi _La Esperanta Gazeto_. Kiam mi auxdis kritikojn pri La
Esperantist dum mia vojagxo, cxiam estis dube cxu oni parolis
pri la Angla, Franca, aux Itala jxurnalo.

Mi plezure rimarkas ke, en L'Esperantiste, Sro de
Beaufront ankaux kondamnas tiujn, kiuj deziras elpensi siajn proprajn
alfabetojn. Kompreneble cxiuj Esperantaj Redaktoroj same faros. Jam
en la Maja Numero sendis tiun kondamnon

The Hon. Sec. of the London Esperanto Club much regrets that his
friend and colleague, Mr. Howard, can no longer occupy himself with
the book department. All Esperantists owe Mr. Howard most hearty
thanks for his devoted labour, and will regret that his present
duties do not permit of its continuance.

In the future _orders for books_ should be sent to The Librarian,
London Esperanto Club, 41, Outer Temple, London, W.C., and not to
Surbiton.

Should the sea have been compassionate, a group of English
Esperantists will have returned from a short stay during Whitsuntide
in Boulogne.

I really must thank you for the many kind remarks on the short sketch
of my holiday with the Esperantists, and it may be that a narrative
of the Boulogne visit will also interest you. A short article about
it will therefore appear in the coming Gazette.

While I was enjoying Italian sunshine, Esperanto gained a new
apostle, whose work has already been seen in The Esperantist. It
is certain that you will greatly enjoy Mr. Lambert's interesting
and able translati
