Kiam mi plezurege rigardas mian rozkoloran infanon, kaj tiun, kiu
donacis lin al mi, mian amegatan edzinon, tiam ne demandu kiun el
ili mia koro plej amas. Mia koro ne povas disigi la patrinon de la
infano. Mi etendas la brakojn, kaj cxirkauxprenas miajn gekarulojn
kune inter ili, kaj gxojlarmoj fluas sur miajn vangojn. Ha! Se vi
scius, mallauxte mi diras, kiel vi estas amataj, vi, infano, pro
via patrino; kaj vi, patrino, pro via infano!

The Hon. Sec. of the London Esperanto Club herewith gives notice that
the Free Classes are now closed for the summer months. Due notice
will be given of the date of re-opening. In the meantime inquirers

Regent's Park, N.W. (Stamps should always be enclosed for the reply).

Club Members who have not yet renewed their subscription, and whose
number is below 136, are also reminded that their renewals have
fallen due. It is earnestly hoped that they will favour the Club with
a continuance of their kind support.

Our prized volume, the _Fundamenta Krestomatio_, bears a most
unfortunate title.

Many correspondents ask the derivation of the word. We suppose it has
been imported from the Greek, and means the Giver of Oracles. Perhaps
the Second Edition of this great work will bear some more easily
recognised title, which may serve to apprise the uninitiated of the
purpose and scope of the volume.
