"Och, 't en es euk gienen dag lijk nen anderen," zei ze vergoelijkend.
Zij had er hem nu ook wel gaarne alles van verteld, maar durfde toch
niet. Hij was te boos nu.

Daarbuiten, in 't verbleekend manelicht, klaroende reeds een haan het
naderen van den dageraad....
