words of God shall be fulfilled.
(18)And the woman which thou sawest is the great city, which has a
kingdom over the kings of the earth.
XVIII.
AFTER these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven,
having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
(2)And he cried with a strong voice, saying: Babylon the great is
fallen, is fallen, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of
every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
(3)Because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth committed fornication with
her, and the merchants of the earth became rich out of the abundance
of her luxury.
(4)And I heard another voice out of heaven, saying: Come out of her,
