ANDREW JACKSON. WASHINGTON, _March 10, 1836_. _To the Senate and House of Representatives_: I transmit herewith a report from the Secretary of State, communicating the proceedings of a convention assembled at Little Rock, in the Territory of Arkansas, for the purpose of forming a constitution and system of government for the State of Arkansas. The constitution adopted by this convention and the documents accompanying it, referred to in the report from the Secretary of State, are respectfully submitted to the consideration of Congress. ANDREW JACKSON. WASHINGTON, _April 1, 1836_. _To the Senate_: I transmit herewith to the Senate, for their advice and consent as to its ratification, a treaty concluded with the Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
