My Lady-doll is pretty,

Pretty Doll

Oh dear! what a beautiful doll
My sister has bought at the fair
She says I must call it Miss Poll,

And please may I take it to bed?

How kind was my sister to buy

Now Puss had a doll
That Dame Trot bought to please her,

Name of Louisa
And when Kitty was lonesome

Though often quite roughly
It must be confessed
