L'emporte-piece de tout ceci, fut un cadre de grandeur considerable,
couvert de produit chimiques au milieu duquel on avait inscrit le
chiffre du "65e", en matiere inflammable. Cette piece d'un genre
particulier, mise en feu, arracha a la foule des cris et des
applaudissements.

Le feu d'artifice se termina a 9.30 heures.

L'auteur a tenu a publier ce rapport tel qu'il a ete fait dans le temps,
afin de l'enregistrer dans l'histoire de la campagne elle-meme, et
surtout pour que plus tard, personne ne puisse le taxer de partialite.
