The sea urchins, the starfish, and other animals take shelter among them. Little by little the corals pile up and an island is formed. The birds and the waves carry seeds to the island. "I saw them," said Johnny, "they were going toward the pond." "Dear! dear!" said Miss Matilda. "Do you think they will come back?" "We'll go looking for them," said Kate.
