DEDICATION.
To MR. SERGEANT STORKS.
DEAR MR. SERGEANT,
To you I dedicate this sketch of the Life of my late brother, Henry
Cooper; and, for three good reasons--the first, because, you were
associated with my brother on circuit, knew him well, and were one of
those, who being often opposed to him in court, were best able to
appreciate his talents, eloquence, and the general powers of his mind;--my
second, because, when young, I have listened often to your eloquence, and
been made merry by your wit and humour;--my third, because, you have

Mr. Sergeant, with kind regards to yourself, and best wishes to you and
yours,
Believe me,
Yours very truly,
WILLIAM COOPER.
