The printing, &c., has cost upwards of six hundred pounds, and the Archdeacon, naturally unwilling to lose the whole of this outlay, is circulating a prospectus offering copies at fifty shillings the set. Of these, there are but two hundred. The utility of a book which contains the names and preferments of every occupant of an Irish see, dignity, or prebend, from the earliest period to the present day, so far as existing materials permits, is so obvious, that it can scarcely be doubted that it must eventually find a place in all public and official libraries.
