nded, and the floods came, and the winds
blew and beat on that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on the
rock. [7:26]And every one who hears these words of mine and performs
them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house on the
sand; [7:27]and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds
blew and beat on that house, and it fell; and its fall was great.
[7:28]And when Jesus had finished these words the multitudes were
astonished at his teaching; [7:29]for he taught them as having

CHAPTER VI.
CHRIST'S MIRACLES, PREVIOUS TO THE APPOINTMENT OF HIS TWELVE APOSTLES.
1 [8:1]AND when he went down from the mountain great multitudes
followed him; [8:2]and behold, a leper came and worshipped him, saying,
Lord, if you will, you can cleanse me. [8:3]And stretching out his
