l Family. Endue with wisdom | the Ministers of the Crown, [the High Court of Parliament at | this time assembled *,] and those who are in set in authority | over us, that all things may be so ordered and settled by their | endeavours, that peace and happiness, truth and justice, religion | and piety, may be established among us for all generations; | through Jesus Christ our Lord. _Amen_. | | [Margin Note:] * to be said when the Parliament is in Session. _A Prayer for the Clergy and People_. Almighty and everlasting God, who alone workest great marvels: Send down upon our Bishops and Curates, and all Congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace; and that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. _Amen_. _Here endeth the Order of Evening Prayer throughout the Year_. AT MORNING PRAYER _Upon these Feasts_; Christmas-day, _the_ Epiphany, _Saint_ Matthias, Easter-day, Ascension-day, Whitsunday, _Saint_ John Baptist, _Saint_ James, _Saint_ Bartholomew, _Saint_ Matthew, _Saint_ Simon _and Saint_ Jude, _Saint_ Andrew, _and upon_ Trinity Sunday, _shall be sung or said at Morning Prayer, instead of the Apostles Creed, this Confession of our Christian Faith, commonly called the Creed of Saint Athanasius, by the Minister and people standing_. QUICUNQUE VULT. Whosoever will be saved: before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic Faith. Which Faith, except every one do keep whole and undefiled: without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.
