O Lord, shew thy mercy upon us. _Answer_. And grant us thy salvation. _Priest_. O Lord, save the King; _Answer_. Who putteth his trust in thee. _Priest_. Send him help from thy holy place. _Answer_. And evermore mightily defend him. _Priest_. Be unto him, O Lord, a strong tower; _Answer_. From the face of his enemies. _Priest_. Endue thy Ministers with righteousness. _Answer_. And make thy chosen people joyful. _Priest_. O Lord, save thy people. _Answer_. And bless thine inheritance. _Priest_. Give peace in our time, O Lord. _Answer_.
