Peter said to them: Do penance: and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 2:39. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call. 2:40. And with very many other words did he testify and exhort them, saying: Save yourselves from this perverse generation. 2:41. They therefore that received his word were baptized: and there were added in that day about three thousand souls. 2:42. But he looked earnestly upon them, hoping that he should receive something of them. 3:6. But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise and walk. 3:7. And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up: and forthwith his feet and soles received strength. 3:8. And he leaping up, stood and walked and went in with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God. 3:9. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 3:10.
