Upon her head was a hat with splendid plumes, fastened with a band of superb diamonds and her boots were of velvet, spangled with gold. Aimee looked at her robe with an air of complaisance. "And Violette and my son the prince, will you not extend your goodness to them also?" "Violette and the prince have asked for nothing. I will do as they wish.
