CALEB GASKILL, (91), son of Catherine (Vandever) Gaskill, (24), was born
May 7, 1832; married Nov. 13, 1860, Julia Nelson (she was born Feb. 15,
1842; died Sept. 30, 1881), by whom he had seven children. He was a
member of Company G, 7th Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps, U. S. A.,
participating in seven pitched battles during the war of the Rebellion,
and was honorably discharged at Washington, D. C., May 9, 1865; now
farms near Brainerd, Nebraska. Children:
