man in peace to live,
Our brother's wrong in love forgive,
And day and night the tempter flee
Through strength which comes alone from Thee!

The Heart's Inspiration.
1 Father, who art on high!
Weak is the melody
Of harp or song to reach Thy gracious ear,

A never-dying flame
Of holy love, of grateful trust,
In Thine almighty name.

3 With Thee let every week begin,
With Thee each day be spent,
For Thee each fleeting hour improved,
Since each by Thee is lent.
4 Midst hourly cares may love present
Its incense at Thy throne;
